Well I started off with some yoga for 10 minutes, not the best scores. Then I headed off and did 8 minutes of mucle workout, including 10 jackknifes and the parallel stretch. Then I went it was time for aerobics. Island jogging and super hoola hoop as usually and for once I went for the step plus again. I used to do it in the begning but its not really "hard" enough for me. But anyway, set a new record which is great.
Then I ended with the yoga for 2 minutes, the palm tree pose.

And also, when I got on the wii.. foot pain, as I had these last days. And its friday and I'm tierd. So I simply played some balance games but ended up not playing more than 11 minutes, unfortunatly.

Did the test you do to calculate your age and I got 100 points on the walking test, 50% balance on each foot. Made me pretty happy since I've gotten pretty crappy results before.
So, immediatly when I got home from work I went up and did free steps for 20 minutes. Dad wasn't home so I had the time for it.
After I made dinner and relaxed a bit, I went for 10 minutes of jogging, island jogging. Burnrate of 274%. Then I did yoga for 10 minutes to cool down.
My ankle is still hurting so I am trying to be careful, which makes it harder for me to train. But I try to train every day atleast!

Went out for a walk with my mom today instead, for a little over 1 hour, so I figured that I didn't have to play on the Wii that long today.

Was too tierd to update so you get it now! I ended work earlier since I worked overtime the day before and I figured I'd play staight away when I got home. Wasn't feeling like it but I put on 30 mins of Free step so I could watch some tv atleast. The only problem was that one of the first steps I made, I slipped with my toe and it started hurting. So I had to walk 30 mins with a hurting toe. It still hurts now, after waking up in the morning so that's no good.

But I calculated and according to the Wiifit I lost 2.7kg all in all, which is quite alot. To be honest, in reality it more like -2-2.5kgs, but that's still alot! Just hope I can pull myself together and train tomorrow.

Okay, today I feel ALOT happier. The cutiepie Adriaan (that's my boyfriend, by the way) told me not to worry about it and he was really nice to me and such. He was totally right. Compared to yestarday I lost 0.6kg so that really proves that yestarday was weird. But I did measure at the right time today, but I didn't train at the right time!
I'm currently at my dads place for a few days so I can't train right after work, which means I have to do it after dinner = weight gain. But I'm a little smarter than that, I'll just do the bodytest before dinner and train later since thats basicly the same.
Anyway, decided not to go too hard on myself so I started off with 6 minutes of yoga. Did the warrior pose which I finally got 100 points on. Thats the pose Im best at.

Fucking disaster. I'm honestly confused about todays BMI, re measured 3 times and get the same thing all over. + 1kg in one day? I don't belive that. Or is it that all of the rest of the days were wrong? Sure I didn't train today and measured at a later time but yeah, disapointing.
I don't have anything else to say to be honest but yeah, not pleased.

Yes, Im whining but seriously, nothing compared to how shitty today was. So there might be a weight gain tomorrow but Im prepaired atleast.

This is posted 1 day late but I did train! I was just too tierd to get my ass here, hahaha. Serisouly, yestarday was too tiering.
So I only decided to go for balance training and yoga. 20 minutes of yoga, trying out a few new poses, and then 13 minutes of balance training. Not much but hey, almost even feel asleep at work.

Day 18.
BMI: 24.41-24.26 Age: 24 Training time: 37 mins
Tested the BMI twice since it was anoying yestarday and the first try was 24.26 which was very low. Did pretty bad with the balance traning and ended up on the age of 24.
Yoga as usually, for 10 minutes, and when I did the Warrior pose I scored 99 points, almost 100. After that some heavy aerobics with Jogging. And more than yestarday, ran around the whole island on 11 minutes. all of the arobic time ended up on 23 minutes in the end. Then I just did some balance training for 4 minutes, while cooling down.
Spent quite some time also running around in the house searching for batteries and in the end I could borrow some from my sisters tv-remote. Geez.

Well something seemed to be wrong with my board, first I gained a little, tried again immediatly since it was annoying yestarday, and then I lost weight. Tried again and then I gained 2,3kg! Reset it and hopefully it'll be better now.
Didn't feel like training today either, especially with the balance board being weird so I only did 34 mins.

Measuring my BMI today wasn't the happiest, gained some (itsn't much to hassle about though) but it was still a bit disappointing. But after that I decide to, for the first time, to try to measure my cats weight. You do that by just holding it, and the Wii will ask the reason for your weight gain. But when I picked up my cat, who weights around 5kg, and the Wii showed -0.2kg, I got quite surprised. Re-measured by myself and got 24.61 so Im just sticking to that for now I guess.
Did some bascis yoga for 10 mintues, which Im getting pretty good at. My balance is a lot better and I do concider my posture a bit better. I didnt feel like muscle training but I did the Jackknife challenge of 30 reps and that lasted 3 minutes.
And as usually, I want to reward myself, so I went for 5 minutes of balance training. The game Im playing is Table tilt, when you try to put the balls in the hole (s).

I didn't feel like training too much today but it a must for me. And today I could change my goal, which I did. My goal now, from this day on, is lose 6.5kgs in 6months. That's -0.5kg every 2 weeks, which isn't too much.
As usually I started off with some yoga, only 8 minutes today as I wanted to try other stuff today. Then I did 9 minutes of muscle training but when doing the jackknife challenge my board started acting weird. So I went back to the Wiiplaza but it said that nothing was wrong and when I got back in game, it was all fine again.
But yeah, doing 20reps of jackknifes is tiering, for someone as untrained as I, so I did some balance games for 4 minutes to just relax for a second.
After that I did some aerobics for 21 full minutes. I even did long distance jogging and, to be honest, I hate jogging. But it all went fine, nice and warm afterwards, hahaha.

The start.
So yeah, this is my first REAL post. I wanted to fix the layout a little at least and since I work fulltime I didn't have any time for it. But that's gonna change now, from now on I will post every day since I train every day. Here's my story.
I bought Wii fit 2 weeks ago since they didn't have it in stock earlier and I found the whole idea interesting. A game and workout at the same time? Can it possible to be fun? I also found it more interesting since I gained some weight this last year, because of the lack of exercise and just not caring about what I ate ALL the time. So why the hell not try? I love my Wii and I need to exercise but I don't have the time to head to the gym (don't like getting sweaty and definitely not in public!) since I work fulltime.
"Sure, other people can work fulltime and have the time for the gym", you might say, because of my relationship I can't. I'm currently in a distant relationship so I spend a lot of time infront of my computer to spend time with him. But there's no regret, I love my life and soon I'll move to Belgium and start a life with him. That's my wish that will come true.
But this blog isn't about my relationship so don't expect to hear much of it, I just wanted to explain my reasons for having it this way. Exactly the way I want it.
Anyway, I don't have the time to go to the gym and I found it interesting so I bought the game.
Now, I'm not overweight or anything, I'm still in my ideal weight according to the Wii but it could be better. I mean, there's a difference between 25.16 BMI and 22 BMI. Im not fit at all, I barely have anything that you could call muscles. And if I bend over I can reach my knees and that's all. Pretty sad but its the harsh truth. When I was small I only played soccer for a few years and as I gained weight I started disliking P.E because, well, fat kids usually aren't good in P.E. and that was embarassing. Ah well, I lost weight (quite some) and found my boyfriend which I adore more than anything. According to him I wouldn't need this training because he likes me the way I am but... this is just for me. The Wii fit training is about me feeling better about myself, feeling confident.
I do excuse myself for starting this whole thing 2 weeks late but I didn't think of a blog until I saw one a few days ago, which, I have to say, was very motivating. It was a great inspiration to me to try harder so I can reach my goal and also feel better about myself.
I decided I'll train between 30-60 minutes everyday for 2 months and see what happens. I'd like to achieve the ideal 22 BMI again and just be stronger and more flexible. I will also eat healthier so the weight loss isn't only due to the training.
I will update the blog daily with what I did on the Wii that day but also current BMI and such things. It will be like a commitment and an encouragement to blog about it and I hope that you will enjoy the progress.
